Rooms are offered at £39 per night for single occupancy and £60 per night for double occupancy.
The Gardener’s Cottage provides a relaxing homely atmosphere. It offers shared accommodation and is located in a quiet location to the west of Cambridge within the grounds of the Institute of Astronomy.
It is ideally situated for any visitors to the University of Cambridge’s West Cambridge site, and is a short bus journey away from central Cambridge.
Individual rooms are available for short term stays of up to twelve weeks by visitors or employees of University of Cambridge departments only. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate bookings from the general public.
The Gardener’s Cottage offers four guest rooms, two twin and two single, which are furnished to provide a comfortable and relaxing homely stay.
The facilities include a shared kitchen, two shared shower rooms and a laundry room. There is free WiFi, freeview TV's in each bedroom and a phone for local calls.
We provide cereals, tea, coffee, fruit juices, bread and jam for a help-yourself breakfast at your leisure.
The Gardener’s Cottage is located in the lovely grounds of the Institute of Astronomy, Madingley Road, just 1.5 miles from the town centre.
A short walk across Madingley Road brings you to the University’s West Cambridge site, with easy access to the departments based on JJ Thomson Avenue. There are also regular buses and park and ride facilities close by, or a 30 minute walk into the town Centre.
